Meno: Perimenopause Tracker
Effective Date: September 19, 2026
Your health data stays on your phone. Always. Your symptoms, cycles, medications, and notes are never collected, transmitted, or shared. The App is free to use and supported by advertising, explained in full in Section 4. An optional paid upgrade, Meno Pro, removes advertising entirely; purchases are described in Section 5.
Meno: Perimenopause Tracker ("Meno", or "the App") is a symptom tracking application designed for women experiencing perimenopause. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information, including what the advertising in the App does and does not have access to, and what happens when you buy the optional Meno Pro upgrade.
We collect no personal or health data. Specifically:
All data you enter into Meno is stored exclusively on your device using a local SQLite database. This means:
Meno is free to download and use. To cover development and hosting costs, the free version of the App displays advertisements supplied by Google AdMob, a service operated by Google LLC.
If you purchase Meno Pro, advertising is removed completely. The advertising SDK is not initialised at all, no advertising identifier is requested, and the tracking permission prompt is not shown.
What AdMob can access:
What AdMob cannot access:
Ads are never targeted using your health data, because your health data is never available to the advertiser in the first place.
Google's handling of the data it collects is governed by its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. You can read how Google uses information from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Meno Pro is an optional paid upgrade, available as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time purchase.
All payment is handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details, billing address, or Apple Account. The App asks Apple whether a valid purchase exists and receives back only that answer; nothing about your health data is involved in, or sent during, that check.
There is no account and no server on our side, so a purchase is tied to your Apple Account rather than to any profile we hold. Restoring a purchase on another device is a request to Apple, not to us. For the same reason, entitlement information is deliberately excluded from backup files (Section 7).
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled at any time in your device's Settings under your Apple Account. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
Your health data leaves the App only when you choose to send it somewhere. There are three such actions, and each one is started by you:
In every case the App hands the file to the iOS share sheet and you choose where it goes. The App does not upload it, does not sync it, and is not told where you saved it. The temporary copy it creates is deleted immediately afterwards, including when you cancel.
Entitlement and purchase information is deliberately left out of backup files, so a backup contains your health history and nothing about your account or payments.
We do not share your health data with anyone. Aside from the advertising information described in Section 4 and the purchase handling described in Section 5, no third parties are involved in processing your information, because your information never leaves your device unless you export it yourself.
The App may request permission to send local notifications: a daily logging reminder, reminders for medications you have entered, and an optional reminder to make a fresh backup. All of these are scheduled and triggered entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to any server, and the text of a medication reminder is composed on the device from what you typed.
Meno is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date.
