Privacy Policy

Data we collect

None. AmpSizer does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information, usage data, device identifiers, or location data. Every calculation runs entirely on your device, and the app makes no network requests of its own — there is no server for it to talk to.

Data stored on your device

Everything you enter stays on your device, saved locally using the operating system's standard local storage:

• Your jobs — names and the voltage/MCA/MOCP/wire-length/material/temperature/installed-wire inputs you enter for each one.
• Your preferences — language, units, appearance (light/dark/system), and AmpSizer Pro status.
• A rating-prompt counter — how many times you have opened the app, whether you have already rated it, and when the rating prompt was last shown. This exists solely so the app does not ask you to rate it repeatedly.

This data:

• never leaves your device on its own
• is not accessible to the developer or any third party
• is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app

Actions that leave the app

AmpSizer never contacts the network on its own, but a few features hand off to other apps or the operating system when you tap them:

• Export PDF (AmpSizer Pro) — generates a PDF job record on your device and opens your device's native share sheet so you can save it or send it wherever you choose. AmpSizer does not upload the file anywhere itself, and deletes its own temporary copy immediately after the share sheet closes.
• Rate the app — opens the App Store review dialog or listing. Your review is handled entirely by Apple under its own privacy policy.
• Send feedback — opens your email app with a blank message addressed to the developer. Nothing is sent unless you write and send it yourself, and the app does not attach any data to it.
• More HVAC tools — opens an App Store listing for one of the developer's other apps, in your browser or the App Store app.

Third-party services

AmpSizer does not integrate any third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, or crash-reporting services.

In-app purchases

AmpSizer is free to use, with an optional one-time "AmpSizer Pro" purchase that unlocks unlimited jobs, wire-size comparison, and PDF export. There are no subscriptions. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple under its own privacy policy — the developer never sees or stores your payment information.

Children's privacy

AmpSizer is an electrical sizing tool for HVAC installers and technicians, and is not directed at children. Since the app collects no data from any user, this applies equally regardless of age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version adds an optional feature that touches data — this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
